Freq Talk ("the App") is developed by Genyus. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.
We do not collect personal data. The App does not require an email address, phone number, or account creation. You choose a display name (pseudo) that is stored locally on your device.
The App uses Apple's CloudKit (public database) to synchronize frequencies, members, and voice messages between devices. CloudKit is operated entirely by Apple under their own privacy policy. We do not operate any backend servers.
None of this data is transmitted to us or any third party.
The App uses Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) via CloudKit subscriptions to notify you of new voice messages. Notification content (channel name, sender name) is generated by CloudKit, not by our servers.
The App does not use any analytics SDK, advertising framework, or tracking technology. We do not use the IDFA. We do not track your usage in any way.
The App relies solely on Apple's native services (CloudKit, APNs, AVFoundation). No third-party SDKs are embedded in the App.
The App is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Since we do not collect personal data, there is no data to delete. Voice messages auto-delete within 10 minutes. You can delete your local data by uninstalling the App. To remove your membership from a frequency, use the "Leave" button in the App.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
